SCHEDULE A Session
Guided Focusing Sessions can help you gain clarity, relief, and movement around a wide number of issues in your life.
In-person sessions are at Radical Healing or at Practice Space, both in Durham, NC, and online sessions are over Zoom.
I offer one-on-one sessions for individuals and two-person sessions for a couple (or any two people in relationship) who want a session together.
Anyone who has never done a guided session should select “First-Time Focuser.”
The prices are sliding scale, so feel free to select the price that works best for you. Alive and Aware Practice accepts HSA cards.
Clients who can pay the higher rate are encouraged to do so to help compensate for those who cannot.
I offer reduced-cost sessions for clients who are either BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) or PWC (currently poor and working class).
Please scroll to the bottom of the scheduling page to find those options. If you would like to support these reduced-cost sessions, you can make a donation here.
Please email me if you have any questions. I look forward to working with you.
Scheduling Policies: You can schedule appointments up to 12 hours before the start of the session. If you need to, you can reschedule or cancel an appointment up to 24 hours before the session begins. Appointments that are cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice will receive a full refund. Cancellations less than 24 hours or no shows will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. (Reduced-cost sessions for BIPOC or PWC clients will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.) Session appointments will be held for 15 minutes and after that will be considered a no show. Thank you!
Paying with an HSA card: Alive and Aware Practice accepts HSA cards. As a mental healthcare provider, Alive and Aware Practice offers services that may be covered by many Health Savings Accounts. Some HSAs require you to have a medical note to confirm that mental healthcare services are being used to treat a diagnosed medical condition. If you are unsure what your HSA covers, contact your HSA provider and ask if your HSA covers therapy sessions. If you would like a different receipt specifically for your HSA records, please email me.
